KEY PERSON CONTINUITY

If something happened to you tomorrow, would they know what to do?

Key Person Continuity is a handover plan centred on you. It is written for the person you trust, a partner, family member, co-founder or chosen successor, so they can keep the business running or wind it down safely if you die, become ill or can't be reached.

HOW IT WORKS

A short setup, then a pack they can actually use.

A guided setup takes you through what your business depends on you for. For each item you record that it exists, where it is kept, who controls it today and who takes over. Never the passwords and never the contents of your documents.

  • Ownership and legal: shareholdings, directorships, your shareholders' agreement, your will, any lasting power of attorney, and insurance
  • Money: bank mandates and signatories, payroll, HMRC and VAT, payment providers, and who can approve payments
  • Access: your domain, email admin, your password manager's emergency access, and key systems
  • People: who runs day-to-day for the first 30 days, key staff, and your accountant, solicitor and financial adviser
  • Customers and suppliers who deal with you personally
  • Your trusted contacts, and their relationship to you

WHAT'S IN THE PACK

The Handover Pack, written for the person reading it.

If you're reading this

A short, calm explanation of what the pack is and what it isn't.

The first 72 hours and the first 30 days

Simple checklists, in order.

Who to call

Your advisers and key staff, with their contact details.

Where things are

Your important documents and who keeps them.

Each dependency

Who controls it today, who takes over, and how.

Read-only access

Trusted contacts can read the plan and the pack. They can't change anything or see billing.

You print it or save it as a PDF from your browser. We'll ask you to review it once a year.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO

Planning support, not a legal document.

  • It isn't a will, a lasting power of attorney or legal advice.
  • It doesn't give anyone legal authority over your business or your money.
  • There is no automatic release on death or incapacity yet. Your trusted contacts can read the pack whenever you give them access.
  • iiwii never stores passwords, PINs or recovery codes. The pack says where things are and who can recover them.

We also suggest you speak to a solicitor about your will, a lasting power of attorney and your shareholders' agreement. The pack works best alongside them.

PRICE

£295 for the first year, then £99 a year.

That's a £196 handover setup plus the first year, then £99 a year to keep it current, including an annual review. Prices include any applicable VAT. Cancel the yearly renewal any time.
